Front Door Finishing
Your front door is the first impression your home makes — and one of the hardest surfaces to finish well. I prepare, prime, and hand-finish exterior doors to a standard you won't find from a general decorator. Oil-based or water-based systems applied correctly, with proper between-coat flatting.

Period Window Restoration
Single-glazed timber windows in older properties are worth preserving — both structurally and aesthetically. I assess condition honestly, carry out joinery repairs where needed, and finish to a high standard that protects the frame and matches the character of the building.

Designed and made to fit the room, not the other way around. Storage, cabinetry, and joinery that works with the architecture of your home. Trained at Rowden Atelier, I understand timber and how to work with it — including the pieces that need patience rather than speed. Would love to talk through the various options.

Furniture Restoration
Pieces worth keeping deserve proper attention. I take on restoration work for furniture with history — stripped back, repaired, and refinished. I can also elevate more mundane pieces to make them stand out. Whether that means bringing back an original surface or applying something new, I'll talk through the options before touching it.

Specialist Paint Finishing
HVLP spray finishing for kitchens, cabinetry, and architectural joinery. A sprayed finish — done properly — looks different to a brush finish. I use it where it makes sense and brush or roll where that's the better choice. No overselling of methods; just the right result for the surface.

Period Property Joinery
Older homes need tradespeople who understand them. I work on skirting, architrave, panelling, and built-in joinery in period properties across East Devon and Dorset — quietly, cleanly, and with an awareness of what the building is asking for.
